Besides the previously announced players who have lengthened their contracts, Heidi Löke and Tóth Gabriella, Eduarda Amorim is also going to lengthen hers. The 29-year old Brazilian player has been strengthening the team since 2009 winning two Champions League, five Hungarian Championship and six Hungarian Cups. Duda has become a world top player in ETO as a result of which the EHF chose her to be the best female player of 2014. Her play is of high importance both in defense and attacks. She suffered a serious knee injury in 2014 from which she recovered and returned after half a year in summer, 2015. She could regain her old form with her match by match growing confidence. “I’m really proud to play in Győr, it’s a big opportunity for me to play in one of the best teams in Europe”, said Amorim. “It’s a big motivation for me that I can play in a club which has the chance to win the highest ranked trophy, the Champions League and I hope that I can also contribute to this. Linn Sulland and Kovacsics Aniko, who will continue her career in FTC, are going to leave the team, the club wishes them the best of luck to their careers. The club lengthened her contract with the left-handed back, Planéta Szimonetta, who will be playing in the Thüringer as an exchange player.


The club has signed a 2-year contract with two young talents, the right-back Kiss Nikolett from Mosonmagyaróvár and the left-winger Puhalák Szidónia. Szidóni will start the preparation with ETO from this summer. Kiss Nikolett will remain an exchange player in Mosonmagyaróvár for 1 year. In the winger positions there are negotiations going on, the final team will be announced after finishing them.
