The president of Győri Audi ETO KC, Dr. Csaba Bartha, is already in Spain this week to watch the matches of the final round and the final of the tournament. On Friday, he will be joined by our head coach Ambros Martín and the club's international director Tamás Szabó. The representatives of our club will of course also hold talks on the future of the team.

This year, for the first time since 2019, the club's management will be back on the spot to follow the most prestigious women's national team competition. After the World Championships in Kumamoto, it was not possible to be present at last year's European Championships and this year's Olympics due to the coronavirus epidemic, so the "ETO delegation" will return to the world competitions after a short break.

"I am happy to be back in person at the national team competitions, as there are important discussions and negotiations taking place both for the sporting sector and for the future of our club. When we planned the trip, we thought that we would watch at least one match of each of our players. Unfortunately, for many of them the World Cup is already over and unfortunately we won't be able to watch the Hungarian national team play live in Spain. However, we are sure that there will be some Győr players in the quarter-finals, who will hopefully play in the semi-finals and the final. Participating in sporting events is not primarily about watching the matches, but there are a number of important negotiations and discussions going on in the background that could have a decisive impact on the future of the club." - said Dr Csaba Bartha.

The President of Győri Audi ETO KC has already watched yesterday's quarter-final matches Denmark vs Brazil and Spain vs Germany on the spot and will attend the other two matches today. During the breaks and the rest of the day, he will be in talks with the players' managers to achieve the club's short and long-term goals.
