We played against Vác to get into the final four of the Hungarian Cup. There was no doubt about our victory, Ambros Martin gave chance to our youth player, Hudák Emma, who contributed to our success with a goal.
The team was incomplete at the match because Heidi Löke had got a small hit on her face and Eduarda Amorim got ill. Fortunately, by the end of the week both of them will have been recovered but today the youth substituted them on the field. From the youth-junior team, Lakatos Rita, Hársfalvi Júlia and Hudák Emma as well as Wéninger Alexa were present. Our defense was very organized during the whole match, the wall could hardly get to the goal where Kiss Évi saved beautifully in the first half. The opponent didn’t really find the cure against us, they missed 3 penalties. All the youths could play, Lakatos Rita scored two, the rookie, Hudák Emma scored one goal and got registered to the scoring list. Nycke got so energized in the second half that she could score three goals in a row and she finished with 7.
Ambros Martin:”Two important things happened today: we could get into the final four of the Hungarian Cup, and our youths passed the test. I’m very proud of them that they could play so bravely and balanced, their energy was really needed.”
The rookie adult player Hudák Emma was happy after the match:”This has been the first adult match of my life, and I’m very happy that I got the opportunity. Scoring a goal was a plus. Uncle Gabi and Ambros were encouraging me so much to approach the goal and I was trying to do my best. In the defense I had to block, however it is usually not my duty, I solved it”
According to Ódor Katalin, they didn’t especially prepare for Győr: “We wanted to get reorganized in this match, because we needed it so much. Győr is still not our level and we are supporting them in the Champions League”.
