The youngest players could afford a little rest in the autumn holiday, but the older ones, aged 11 and above had trainings and matches last week.
Our teams in ages 11 and 13 started their autumn holiday with a 2-day tournament, the Üstökös Cup in Dunaújváros. The 13-year-old girls were awarded with the brightest medal at the tournament for their flawless performance. Németh Zsuzsanna, their goalie, became the best goalkeeper. The 12-year-olds got ranked 4th, however, Takács Nóci became the top scorer in her age group scoring the most goals. Our 11-year-olds could return home with a medal, too, they were awarded bronze.
The biggest pressure was on the oldest ones that week. Players aged 14-17 were taking part in a training camp so they couldn’t participate in the matches. We played two rounds, against Szentendre and Vasas, in the Hungarian "B" League, while in the first League we hosted Debrecen.
