Our team played a stable and tough game from the first minute at the return match of the Quarter Final of the Champions League. Our attacks were fast and accurate. Taking advantage of the technical mistakes of Fradi we could score from counter attacks and immediate attacks. We could find the holes in the wall and scored relentlessly. Ambros Martin gave every player the chance to prove their talent, and they showed appreciation by scoring goals. Löke scored 7 goals, Kovacsics, Sulland and Broch scored 5 times. Our attacks were more concentrated in the first half, in the second part our opponent could score 3 more goals. Grimsbö was the first in the goal in the second half Kiss saved excellently contributing to the incredible victory.
Ambros Martin commented the match happily:”The girls performed well today, I’m very content with both the attacks and the defence but most of all with the everyday hard work that the team do day by day. Everybody who stepped on the court could contribute to the victory. We are going on this way further.”
Elek Gábor said:”Győr deserved this victory even with this difference. Good luck to them in the Final4. We are in a very bad period, for 8 months we felt as if we had been dreaming, but now it feels like hell. Maybe there is no such difference between the two teams”.
Görbicz Anita contributed to the victory among others with penalty throws:”It’s incredible what we showed today, I’m very happy not only about our victory but our play. We enjoyed the game so much we could take the lead early and then it was easier. Our attacks were energetic and it was shown in goals too. I’m sorry that our road to the Final 4 was through Fradi. We are working on to be better or at least as good in the future.
Hornyák Dóra could score 6 times to ETO:”We feel ashamed, we can do it better than this. We have to get ourselves together as soon as possible”
