The girls in green and white have stepped on the court in the 18th round of the Hungarian League in front of 4700 enthusiastic fans in Audi Aréna Győr. The opponent team, Érd was fighting hard against the titleholder Győri Audi ETO KC, but there was a 5 goals difference in the halftime result in favour of the home team in the halftime result which they could save until the end of the match.

Before the match has started, local manager of HSSF and dr. Bartha Csaba, president of Győri Audi ETO KC congratulated to the Handball ISF-winner team and their trainers and teachers for the successes in Doha.

Yvette Broch has already returned after missing out the match against Ljubljana last weekend, she had an easy ankle-dislocation but thank to the medical handling she could play against Érd again.
Eduarda Amorim has already started the ball-trainings with the team this week, because of the fast recovery of her hand hopefully she will be able to step on court at the weekend against Dunaújváros, has been said by dr. Balogh Péter, team doctor.
Anne Mette Hansen has an easy finger-injury, that’s why she has watched the match from the spectator area – according to the plans she will return in two weeks.


1st half
The home team has started the match with the combination of Görbicz, Tomori, Althaus, Oftedal, Groot, Bódi and Grimsbö.
The first goal of the match was scored by Signate, after that Krpez-Slezak has raised her goals to 2. The first goal of the home team was scored by Oftedal in the middle of the 4th minute, Krpez-Slezak, Groot and Ofteal have modified the result to draw with some scores (3-3). Oftedal, Tomori and Groot was keeping on goal-scoring machine after the goal of Kiss from Érd – in the 18th minute of the match the result was 10-7. Érd tried to keep step with Győr, but the goaldifference has just been raised to 5 thank to Groot and Oftedal to the halftime break.

2nd half
The first goal of the 2nd half was scored by Kiss from the guest side, Oftedal has doubled (21-15). Broch and Oftedal were successful after Tóth, Bulatovic, Oftedal, Szabó and Krpez-Slezak were keeping on the goal-production. For the 41th minute Ambros Martín’s team gained a 6 goals advantage. González has also made her debut in the Audi Aréna Győr – she scored two goals in order to celebrate it. 10 minutes before the end the result was 28-22 in favour of Győr – here has come Krpez-Slezak and Groot with 3-3 goals. Kiss has created the final result with her last goal in the last minutes: 31-26

Krpez-Slezak Katarina: „I am very happy, because we made a step forward, we played better than last time. There were good and bad moments of course, but we kept on fighting. I wich good luck to Győr in the Champions League!”

Ambros Martín: „I expected that the performance of my team will have ups and downs, because we faced a very good opponent tonight. The most important is that we could win against a good team and the match has a lot of positive things.”

Nycke Groot: „It is never easy to play against Érd, because they always want to keep us under pressure. We knew that we have to fight hard to be able to win the match, we couldn’t be sure about the victory for a single moment until the end.”
