Győri Audi ETO KC hosted Kecskemét in the 22nd round of the Hungarian League in Audi Aréna Győr. The match has started with 45 minutes delay because of some technical problems, but it didn’t make itself felt in the game of the green and white team – they were fighting with their youngsters on their side and gained a 20-goals victory at the end.
Final result: 39-19

1st half
The green and white team started the game with the combination of Fodor, Amorim, Althaus, Görbicz, Gonzalez, Knedlikova and Grimsbö.
Owing to the goals of Gonzalez and Görbicz, the home team got 2-0 lead at the beginning of the match, the answer came in the 3rd minute from Fauszt before the goals scored by Gonzalez and Fauszt again (3-2). After Althaus and Deáki, Fodor, the young talented wing scored her first goal in game. Coming to the 15th minute of the first half the number of goals doubled themselves, 10-6 could be seen on scoreboard. After the first goal of Knedlikova, the head coach of the guest team called for the first timeout of the match. 6 minutes before the end of the first half Görbicz could shoot a 7m penalty and the difference was 11 (18-7) which they preserved until the halftime break.
Halftime result: 22-11

2nd half
Kaiser started the goal-scoring in the second half, after that came Hansen with 3 and Althaus with 2 goals by fantastic solutions – the difference continued to grow to 14 (27-13). Risovic performed very well in the guest goal, but the home team kept on fighting and concentrating on their goal to reach – in the last 15 minutes with the integration of the young players. Afentaler, Pál and Varga were grateful for the trust which all of them thanked by one goal in game. Oftedal contributed also to the success with one goal which was welcomed by the spectators because of the comeback after injury of the norwegian playmaker. Kiss performed also very well in the goal and tried to defuse the shootings of Kecskemét’s player. The final result has been made 2 minutes before the end of the match which meant 20-goals victory for the title-defender Győri Audi ETO KC.
