The new year did not start well for the Brazilian-Hungarian player of Győri Audi ETO KC, Eduarda Amorim. The excellent player suffered an ankle injury in the second minute of the match against FTC-Rail Cargo Hungaria.

Already at the very beginning of the Hungarian League match against Ferencváros, one of the top players of the title-defender Győri Audi ETO KC, led by Gábor Danyi has been lost. Eduarda Amorim's right ankle has been injured during defense. The player was only able to leave the court with help and later the injury was confirmed by a detailed medical examination.

“Based on the physical RTG and ultrasound examination we found a conservative-needbone-band injury. Early physiotherapy treatment is started in the days with plaster fixation. When the swelling ceases, we mobilize it with a special ankle fixer, with emphasis on keeping the whole body functional. The expected forced rest is 5-6 weeks.”- said dr. Péter Balogh, team doctor.

We wish Eduarda Amorim a fast recovery and comeback!
