All members of the delegation of the Győri Audi ETO KC, who are in compulsory home quarantine, have been tested  first to leave quarantine. Samples submitted on day 4 have been checked  according to the official regulations, and there is another person in the delegation infected with COVID19.

On the morning of October 22, 2020, the official delegation of the Győri Audi ETO KC  took part in the usual PCR test for the match against Buducnost  at Petz Aladár Hospital. The results were obtained on the morning of October 23, while a member of the delegation gave a positive sample, so everyone who was in contact with Csenge Fodor, who gave the positive result, was quarantined for 10 days. 15 players and 6 staff members were quarantined.  Csenge Fodor is fine, she has no symptoms, she's in quarantine at her home.

According the epidemiological regulations, our club cancelled the trip for the CL match and notified the EHF, which postponed the away meeting against Buducnost to an unspecified date.

Our club also notified the MKSZ of the positive sample, which also postponed the match against Mosonmagyaróvár due to the official home quarantine order.

The club management examined the alternatives to abolish the quarantine. In accordance with the relevant legal provisions, the contacted delegation took the first sample on the fourth day after the positive sample was given (training session on 22 October), on Monday morning, October 26, 2020, followed by the second on 28 October. Monday's test found another infected person, Veronica Kristiansen, who gave a positive sample. The player has been in home quarantine since October 22, with no symptoms. Everyone but her was negative. If, on Wednesday’s sampling, those who produced today’s negative samples, will produce negative results again, the epidemological authority will abolish their quarantine.

Our club wishes Csenge Fodor and Veronica Kristiansen  strength and a fast recovery. Further testing results will be published to inform the public.
