The draw for the semi-finals of the DELO WOMEN'S EHF Champions League FINAL4 was held in the Sports TV’s studio. Our team is going to play against Brest on 29 May at the Papp László Budapest Arena.

The draw was carried out by Bozidar Djurkovic of the EHF. He pulled our team firstly, which is scheduled to the French Brest.

In this year's Champions League competition, at the group phase we met with Brest with Ana Grost, a former player of Győr. In the third round there was an 25-25 draw in away, and a 27-27 draw at the Audi Arena Győr. The French team finished in the third place at the group phase and they beat the Ejsberg in the play-offs. To reach the FINAL4, they played against with the also French Metz. Brest won 34-24 on home in the first round, and the rematch ended in a 24-24 draw.

After the draw for the Champions League semi-final, we asked our head coach, Gábor Danyi:

"The Brest team represents strong force to play, and we've seen that this year, because we've met them twice and both times it's been a draw. They have two excellent players in each position. I think they're the best French team right now. But we have to focus on ourselves, we have a goal, we would like to win the CL again this year, that's why we work every day.'
