The Győri Audi ETO KC is preparing with six new players in the squad for the 2021/2022 season.

We are launching a series to get know our new players. In the third part of the series, we will continue with our returning player Schatzl Nadine. If you’re curious how they get along with Csenge, look at this video.

You had a short break after Olimipa. Did you get some rest?

Yes, we got 10 days, the first two days was spent with travel. It was a bit difficult to get back in at the beginning because of the jet lag, but by the time of the preparation we have switched. We have recharged, everyone came home to their family, their partner. I was so lucky that my mom, sister and her boyfriend came to see me and they've been here almost all week. They took turns with my boyfriend, and now he's here. I think we were able to rest, the beginning of the homecoming was the harder one.

How satisfied are you with your Olympic performance?

We didn't start the first three matches very well and had to fight our way back from deep. We have to counting the points, which we don't like very much. But I'm glad because the other matches turned out to be qualified. I am very sorry that we did not manage to keep the Norwegian match in the last 10 minutes, where we could hold for 50 minutes. That was our best match at the Olympics.

You had your first training sessions in Győr. How was the welcome?

They were waiting for us with a hug. We know each other by sight or by closer inspection. The girls and the staff were really nice, the doctors were really good.

You know the team well, some as opponents, others as friends. how will this year's ETO look like?

I think the team is formed by very good players, not only on the field, but also on the human side. I need to get to know Ambros better because I used to train with him, but I don't know how much he's changed. I think he's going to prepare this team very well, and all the girls are going to be partners in that.

How do you imagine the common work with Ambros?

I'm looking forward to it, I'm curious. I'd love to learn something new, I'm open to anything, and I would like to intensify my strengths even more with him. But it's not just theoretical work, the team building is also at the forefront of him. I'm excited.

It is not necessary to introduce Győr and Audi ETO to you... But in the last few years, you've been an opponent at the Arena most of the time. How do you feel about the new season?

I was really excited about moving in. I've assessed how long it'll take me to get to the Arena by car. However, I'm really looking forward to meeting old acquaintances, I recently ran into Uncle Kálmán Róth and it was great to see him. It's like I'm back in my home. I'm really happy to be here.

Did you ask your friend, Vica Lukács for her opinion before you were certified?

I asked her how it’s like here in Győr when she signed here, because I'm very curious about her opinion. But she also said that everyone was very kind to her, everybody was helpful, that she could ask anyone for help. That's why I wasn't afraid of any problems.

You'll share the match time with Fodor Csenge. Do you think there's going to be a fight in the post or are you going to complement each other?

I think it's not going to be a problem, we're going to help each other, obviously at the beginning I'm going to ask her for more help and I think we're going to make a really good team on the far left.

What would you say to the fans before the season?

I’d say that they can create a wonderful atmosphere here and we would be delighted if the COVID virus would allow them to continue to visit the arena. They're a big support for us, that they'd be there as one additional person on the field.
