Győri Audi ETO KC is going to play in Slovenia in the DELO EHF Women's Handball Champions League on September 18th at 6PM. In the second round of the competition, Slovenian Krim Ljubljana will be the opponent of our girls. Before the match, Stine Oftedal was asked to give us her expectations about the meeting.

 

Győri Audi ETO KC will fight against a well known team in the Champions League, Ambros Martín's players was met the Slovenian recorder during the preparations. The training match played at Balatonboglár at the beginning of September, our girls won by five goals, 32–27. If we visiting only the last five years - the preparation meeting we do not look at - the two teams have played with each other a total of eight times, each time we have left the field victorious. The biggest victory was in the 2016-17 season, when the Hansens won by 17 goals on both occasions in their semi-final matches.

Krim Ljubljana met the Sweden's IK Sävehof in the first round of the Champions League, where the Swedish team won 29–28. The Slovenian team has been transformed in the same way as our team, they have seven new players. They have contracted form the Buducnost BEMAX three player, Barbara Arenhart, Andrea Lekic and Allison Pineau, from the CSM Bucharest's Dragana Cvijic, from the Rostov-Don's Katarina Krpez-Slezlak and from HC Lokomotiva Paula Posavec. Tjasa Stanko  has returned to Ljubljana from Metz Handball .
