The week of national teams has come to an end, with our players playing in qualifying matches across Europe. We took a look at how the Győr's players performed in their national teams.

Our club is represented by 10 players at the European Championship qualifiers in the first week of October. On 10 October, the Hungarian women's handball team has won against Slovakia 30 - 28 in an exciting match. Viktoria Lukács scored 6 goals and Noémi Háfra scored 4 goals. Our club would like to congratulate Csenge Fodor, who made her debut for the adult national team in the away match against Slovakia. Nadine Schatzl did not play in the match.

The Romanian team with Crina Pintea played a 33-33 draw with Austria after a five-goal halftime lead (16 - 11), Crina scored 2 goals in the match.

After a 18 - 5 halftime score, Denmark won 39 - 19 against the Faroe Islands, with our captain scoring six goals in which contributed to the big win.

Sweden beat Turkey to 31 - 23, Linn Blohm was not in the Swedish squad for this match.

The Norwegian national team also triumphed in Slovenia in the second preparation match between the two teams, this time beating the Slovenians by five goals, to 26 - 21. No Győr player was in the Norwegian squad for this match.
