The last home Champions League match of 2021 will be played by Győri Audi ETO KC, as in the 7th round of the DELO EHF Champions League the Turkish team Kastamonu will come to the Audi Arena Győr. The match will kick off on Saturday 13 November 2021 at 18:00 and will be broadcast live on Sport TV.
Győri Audi ETO KC have won all six of their six Champions League matches so far this season, and will enter Saturday's clash against Kastamonu with a perfect record. Our Turkish opponents are in the opposite position in the most prestigious women's handball club competition, sitting bottom of the group with no points after six rounds. Kastamonu, who also have previous Győr's player Jovanka Radicevic in their ranks, suffered a 31 - 25 defeat at home to Odense in the first round, before losing 34 - 27 at home to CSZKA. In the third round, they came within a whisker of a point but were beaten by Krim Ljubljana of Slovenia by just one goal, 29 - 28. After that, head coach Costica Buceschi's disciples had two trips to the north, first to Vipers, where they suffered a 39 - 25 defeat, and then to IK Sävehof, where they led for a long time but then lost the game in the second half, to 28 - 26. In the sixth round, they were beaten by ten goals to 30 - 20 at home by French team Metz.
True, Kastamonu is a newcomer to the DELO EHF Champions League, but the players they signed in the summer to strengthen their squad are hardly so. Four internationally experienced players have been signed for the 2021/2022 season.

The match will be led by referees Marina Duplii and Olena Pobedrina and will be broadcast live on Sport1.

Under the current government regulation, the meeting is only open to those with a valid immunity certificate, and young people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a protected adult.
