National captain Vladimir Golovin has named the 18 players who will participate in the World Championship in Spain in December - three players from our club have been included in the squad.

The frame of Hungarian women's handball team for the World Championship is final. In the 18-player travelling squad, Győri Audi ETO KC is represented by Noémi Háfra, Viktória Lukács and Nadine Schatzl. The professional staff also includes two Győr-based coaches, Krisztina Pigniczki as assistant coach and Zoltán Holanek as fitness coach.

The Hungarian national team will play two training matches in France and then travel on to Spain for the World Championships.

The Hungarian handball team will start their World Championship campaign in Group E, in a "European group" against Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Our national team will play its group matches in Lliria, at the Pabellón Polideportivo Pla De L'arc sports hall.

The World Cup, which will take place from 2 to 19 december, will no longer feature 24 teams, but 32. The teams have been drawn into eight groups of four, with the top three teams from each group going through to the second round of group stage, where they will be drawn into groups of six.
