Several members of the Győri Audi ETO KC team have tested positive for coronavirus in the last few days. The infected are all showing mild symptoms and all are doing well considering the circumstances. Detailed information about the current health situation of the team has been provided to the EHF, who have postponed the Sävehof - Győri Audi ETO KC DELO Women's Handball Champions League match on 9 January 2022 to a later date. The European federation said that in the circumstances and in view of the players' health and safety, no other decision could be taken than to postpone the match.
The EHF, together with the two clubs concerned, will agree on a new date for the match as soon as possible.
