In the 13th round of the K&H Women's Handball League, Győri Audi ETO KC hosted DVSC at the Audi Arena Győr. In the first half our team built a bigger lead, which they managed to keep in the second half and won to 31 - 23 against Debrecen.

Ambros Martín gave a rest to Kari Brattset Dale, Silje Solberg and Nadine Schatzl, so our team started without them against DVSC. The first league match of 2022 started with Fodor, Háfra, Nze Minko, Pintea, Ryu, Lukács six and Leynaud in goal. The match started with a goal from Noémi Háfra and in the 10th minute our team led by 4 goals, 7 - 3. With Győr leading by 5 goals in the 12th minute, the Debrecen team's coach called his second time-out of the game. By the last ten minutes of the half, Győr was leading by six goals (13 - 7).  The first period ended with a free throw and a 17 - 9 Győr lead.

Crina Pintea scored the first goal of the second half. In the 36th minute the difference between the teams was ten goals (22 - 12). By the last ten minutes of the match, thanks to Estelle Nze Minko's goal from all over the pitch, Győr had an eight-goal lead (28 - 20), with Glauser making seven saves to help the girls. By the last minutes the scoreboard showed a ten-goal difference again, but in the end the lead remained 8 and Győr won 31-23.

Ambros Martín: "I thought we played a very good first half, both offensively and defensively. We talked a lot about defense and we were able to put it together in the first half.  But I have to congratulate Debrecen, in the second half they played a very good game. Overall, I'm happy and satisfied with the two points."

Noémi Háfra: "We played a good and rushing first half. We focused on their defense. In the second half we got a bit tired and Debrecen took advantage of that."
