In the 12th round of the K&h Women's Handball League, Győri Audi ETO KC made a guest appearance in Dunaújváros. Already in the first half our team developed a five-goal advantage, which was further increased in the second thirty minutes, and in the end we won to 36 - 26 against DKKA.

Five players, Dorottya Faluvégi, Csenge Fodor, Noémi Háfra, Viktória Lukács, Nadine Schatzl and Zoltán Holanek did not travel with the team to the match against DKKA, because it was recently revealed that a member of the Hungarian women's handball team gave a positive sample at the national team's training camp on Tuesday night. As a precautionary, our club has decided they won’t play against DKKA. We have isolated our athletes, we are testing them, and we will make their appearance in this weekend's away Champions League match against CSKA Moscow dependent on further results.

Head coach Ambros Martín started in an unregular line-up without wingers, as the six of Nze Minko, Hansen, Oftedal, Blohm, Kristiansen, Ryu sixes may never have played together like this before, and Leynaud tried to stop the home attacks in the goal. Veronica Kristiansen scored the first goal, and Estelle Nze Minko's goal gave us a 2-0 lead. In the 13th minute, our team had a four-goal advantage (9-5). The home team decreased the advantega to a two-goal for the last 10 minutes of the half (10 –8), but they could not get closer to us. Bulath's goal was the last moment of the first half, giving us a 17 -12 halftime lead.

Silje Solberg arrived to the Győr’s goal in the second half, and our team increased their advantage further over the home team, and in the 41st minute the difference between the two teams was already ten goals (26 – 16). For the last ten minutes of the match, our team held a confident lead and we started the end of the game with a 29-22 lead. The meeting ended with a home-time free throw, we finally preserved the double-digit gap and won 36–26 against DKKA.

Ambros Martín: "We played a tough game, especially when we didn't have a full squad. The home team’s defence made it difficult for us, they defended very aggressively. We scored a lot of run over goals, which gives us a bigger advantage. We get two very important points."

Fanni Gerencsér: "I am happy with the victory and I am glad to being able to play, I could help the team with a goal. It was our will and speed that carried us forward, that was the key to victory."
