The players of Győri Audi ETO KC and the experts of the National Police Headquarters-National Accident Prevention Committee are joining forces to reduce the number of traffic accidents and to spread the message of accident prevention and safe driving. The cooperation agreement was signed by major general dr. János Zoltán Kuczik, deeputy chief of national police force, chairmen of the National Accident Prevention Committee, and Dr. Csaba Bartha, president of Győri Audi ETO KC.

This is an important social engagement in which the team of Győri Audi ETO KC is involved, as the Green and White team will work closely with the National Accident Prevention Committee over the next year to spread the message of accident prevention and safe driving to the club's fans and the sports-loving public, contributing to increase road safety.

"At the time of the inquiry, it was clear that we are keen to support such an initiative. We all travel a lot at the club, which is why the good advice that we are communicating in this joint campaign is so useful. Our players are also thinking responsibly on this issue. Through this collaboration, the friendsof handball will be able to see APC videos, LED ads and floor stickers during our home league matches, but beyond that, we are also actively spreading the word about APC campaigns on social media. I hope that our cooperation will help us to further improve the accident indicators", said president Dr. Csaba Bartha.

"It is of utmost importance for the police and the National Accident Prevention Committee to spread the message of the importance of accident prevention to a wide range of society – to everyone if possible, and to make people aware of the small but important things that they can do to make their everyday life safer on the roads. The women's handball team of Győri Audi ETO KC has one of the largest fan bases in Hungary and is well known throughout the country, which is why we approached the club to help us with our work. Thank you for this positive attitude and I am confident that with the help of the ladies our messages will be even more visible and heard."  said major general dr. János Zoltán Kuczik, deeputy chief of national police force, chairmen of the ORFK-National Accident Prevention Committee.

The cooperation between ORKF-OBB and Győri Audi ETO KC will last for one year. During this time, in addition to appearances at matches at the Audi Arena Győr, the club's players will participate in driving technique training sessions, they will be heard on KRESZ FM on accident prevention and traffic topics, and will actively appear on the club’s and APC’s social media pages to spread the word about the important messages of accident prevention and safe driving.
