The young ETO player is going through a rehabilitation period, and she will start trainings with running exercises this week, three months after her knee ligament operation. “Finally I can start running, it’s going to feel great after the physical therapy and static movements. I can also do squats now, however not with my full weight. I’m working really hard so I can return to my best form as soon as possible. I definitely wanted to continue my career with ETO and I’m happy that the club considered me as part of their plan too. I feel that this is the best place I can be, since I can play in the best team in the world and improve significantly.” Tóth Gabi said.

The young talent has been improving continuously in ETO since she was 12, and started playing in the adult team at the age of 15. She spent three years in ETO's partner teams, Veszprém and Mosonmagyaróvár, where she played many games in the National League which contributed to her improvement. She started this season in ETO, but fell out early in September due to a knee injury. The operation was at the end of September, and Gabi has been in rehabilitation guided by a physical therapist since then. She is expected to return in March.

According to the president of ETO, Kelencsényi Ernő: “Gabi has great potential, she is a diamond under polishing. We’d like her to stay in Győr for the long-term and become a great player of our team. We’re hoping that after returning from injury she can regain her top form and help the team in the final stages of the season.”
