After the World Championship, we thought over our goals and examined our opportunities and realized the importance of signing a Championns League-level player. It was important that the player could not have played in the Champions League this season; as a result we contracted the Norwegian world champion, Ida Alstadt. Ida currently plays for Norwegian Baysen, who we signed a loan agreement with. We’re hoping that she will quickly become part of the team because of her outstanding game intelligence and experience and she will fight for the national and Champions League titles with the girls.” – said Kelencsényi Ernő, president of ETO.

Ida Alstad on her arrival: “I’m very happy to play in one of the best teams in the world. I’m hoping to contribute to the success of my new team with my experience and defensive play. I will surely need some time to pick up the pace of the game here, but it won’t be a problem. My three Norwegian team mates will be a great help and I also played with Nycke in Midtjylland. I think this opportunity will help me become a better player.”

The new member of the team will start training with ETO today and following the necessary administrative procedures, she will play her first game against Podgorica next weekend.
