Just after the 2018/2019 season start, the leadership of Győri Audi ETO KC has already begun with the players whose contract will run out at the end of the season, with long-term goals ahead. Firts of all, the club has agreed with one of its experienced key player, who has already been strengthening the green and white team for a decade, the brazilian left back player, Eduarda Amorim. The parties have signed the prolongation of her contract with two years.

In order to reach the long-term goals of the club besides the goals for 2018/2019 season, the leadership of Győri Audi ETO KC has already started negotiations with their players. First of all, this process has already succeeded in the case of Eduarda Amorim, who is one of the real leaders of the team.

„There are a lot of good handball players in the world, but I think, there are only a few players with such character like Eduarda Amorim.” – mentioned dr. Csaba Bartha, president of Győri Audi ETO KC after having signed the new contract with Eduarda Amorim. „Duda is not just a player among the players of Győri Audi ETO, she is a real leader. I see her professionalism which appears on an average day during trainings as well, because she is nearly always dissatisfied with her performance and with the performance of her teammates, but it is just in favor of being always better as a team. This kind of behavior is very inspirational not just for me, but I think also for the trainers, for the players around her.”

Eduarda Amorim, who is just called Duda in Győr, has found her place in Hungary perfectly by learning the language as well. She is just happy, to be able to play two more seasons besides this one in Győr, and finish her career here as well. „I feel really honoured to finish my career here. I am very glad, that the club wanted me to finish my career here so I am just happy. I made an easy decision, because ETO is the best team in the world.”
