Our team’s right wing, Dorottya Faluvégi suffered a finger injury in the national league match against Vasas. The X-ray examination confirmed a fracture, so today our team doctor, Dr. Péter Balogh operated on her.

In the first half of the match against Vasas, one of the fingers of Dorottya Faluvégi's shooting hand was injured during the defense. We asked team doctor Péter Balogh:

"She came into the hospital in the morning, and we took her to the O.R. after preparation. The fracture could not be properly adjusted and fixed non-invasively, so we decided to open and fasten it with screws and mini plates. She have to spend the day in the hospital. The advantage of plate fixing is that it requires relatively shorter gypsum fixation, so functional treatment can be started earlier. She is expected to return to the field in eight weeks," the team doctor said.

We wish Dorottya a recovery as soon as possible.
