Anja Althaus is a very experienced pivot who is going to strengthen the team from now on. The World Champion Bronze medalist has been selected to be in the national team nearly 250 times, however she has also been successful at club level. She is a multiple time German, Danish and Macedonian champion, moreover, she could take the trophy of Champions League in 2009 and 2010 with the Danish Viborg. She was planning her post handball career in May 2017 when she couldn’t say no to the offer of ETO.

The next guest of our interview session is the more than 60-time Danish national team member, theleft back Anne Mette Hansen. The talented top player of Denmark joined our team from Köbenvhan. She works day by day to get to the top at the club level. Let’s meet her.

Stine Oftedal’s dream has finally come true when she started playing in ETO from the end of summer of 2017. She says, the green-white uniform is a guarantee for the best team, she got to like the city easily and everything is given for the best performance. It’s up to her what she gets out of herself.

ETO completed an unusual mission before the team building program usually organized before the season. The team participated in a military training in the base of the 12th Arrabona Air Defense Artillery Regiment of the Hungarian Defense Forces so that they can prove that they are capable of anything together.

The most important team of ETO has 20 members in season 2017/2018, 5 young talents from the youth teams got into the team beside the 4 newly contracted players. Let’s meet Fodor Csenge who came from the National Handball Academy. The fast winger caught Ambros Martin’s attention at a national match in her age group and now she works with the supervision of the Spanish trainer.

Ticket selling was launched today for the season 2017/2018, so the late comers had to face serious queues in the Visitor Center. Our fans owning a season ticket for the previous season can renew their tickets for this season first, moreover we have special offers in the pre-purchase period (Aug 14-27).

Respecting the traditions, the first ETO training is open to the fans and supporters. We are looking forward to welcome you in the Audi Aréna on August 8 in season 2017/2018.

Kari Aalvik Grimsbö got injured at the match against Buducnost in the semifinal of the Champions League. She could return to the final, and she performed well, but in order to recover soon, she needed medical care.
While her team mates are in training camp abroad, she is doing her rehabilitation in Norway. She is going to join the team in the second week of August.
 

Görbicz Anita won the voting of the EHF in May and in June she did it again.
